FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know about Eventful, from invites and photobooths to subscriptions, accounts and the less glamorous but still important bits.

General

Eventful is a platform for creating and managing events without juggling five different apps and a slightly unhinged notes page. You can create an event, invite people, organise the details, and keep everything in one place.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, tap New Event. You’ll be asked to add the event name, then choose the type, date and time. Nice and straightforward.

You’ve got two options. You can invite people directly in the app, as long as they have an Eventful account. Or you can use the Event Link on the event page, which lets guests RSVP without downloading the app. Lovely for them. Helpful for you.

Your photobooth photos are currently stored on your device. Cloud storage is on the list for the future, because we know it would be handy to keep everything in one place.

Payments & Refunds

Tap your account name, head to Subscriptions, choose your plan, and tap Subscribe. Nice and simple.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google Play, depending on your device.

On iPhone: go to Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, select Eventful, and tap Cancel Subscription.

On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your Google account, then Subscriptions, select Eventful, and tap Cancel Subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google Play, depending on where the purchase was made. If you’re within their eligible refund window, you may be able to request one directly through the store.

Safety & Security

You can report a safety issue by contacting our support team through the website contact form or by emailing help@eventful.com. We’d always rather hear about something early than not at all.

At the moment, in-app reporting is not available. If you need to report someone or raise a concern, please contact us directly and we’ll take it from there.

Account & Profile

Download the app and tap Sign Up. That’s it.

Log out first, then tap Forgot Password. Enter your email address and select Reset Password. We’ll send you an email with a link so you can sort it properly.

Tap your account name, go to Settings, then select Delete Account. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Tap your account name, head to Settings, and choose Delete Data. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Still stuck? Fair enough. Get in touch and we’ll do our best to help without sending you in circles.
